Bike School

This year FCW has coordinated our efforts and created a 4 class curriculum to be taught over the course of 4 weeks to cover the essentials of bicycle repair. Using the intermediate course in Park Tools Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, our Mechanics Course covers: fixing a flat, wheel truing, overhauling bottom brackets, derailler adjustmenst, brake adjustments and chain maintenance. Our classes are taught by several experienced Bicycle Mechanics throughout the Columbus Area.

Funds for this program have been provided through the United Way’s Neighborhood Partnership Grants and the Episcopal Community Service Fund.

We hope to run several Courses throughout the summer of 2012.
